Healing Properties of Gemstones
- Throughout recorded history, the healing powers of silver and gemstones have been used and shared by millions of people. I have listed some of the stones that I regularly use as well as their recorded health benefits - millions of people over thousands of years must have found them beneficial - perhaps you will too!!
- Silver has been used as a "disinfectant" for the human body - Hippocrates wrote that silver had beneficial healing and anti-disease properties.
- When it is used with gemstones, the metal retains and amplifies qualities emitted by the stones. It will enhance the connection between the wearer and the stone, allowing for a gentle flow of energy between the two.
- Amber is said to be a natural antibiotic and pain killer - it can draw illness or affliction from your body when worn.
- Amethyst - a natural tranquilizer that relieves stress and strain and soothes irritability.
- Black Onyx - helps overcome kidney and liver diseases and strengthens your teeth and bones
